VATPHIL proudly presents the ***Island Link Philippines*** series!

The goal of these events is to showcase the amazing Philippine archipelago and the thriving aviation sector surrounding it. Join us in this second iteration, "The Queen, The Jewel and The Gentle People," as we light up the Central Visayas, featuring:

Cebu, "*The Queen City of the South*", through **Mactan-Cebu International Airport (RPVM).**

Bohol, "*The Jewel of the Philippines*", through **Bohol-Panglao International Airport (RPSP).**

And Dumaguete, "*The City of Gentle People*", through **Dumaguete-Sibulan Airport (RPVD)**.

On **July 18, 2026 (Saturday)** from **12:00Z-15:00Z** (8 PM-11 PM Local Time), expect ATC coverage on these airports alongside **Manila (RPLL)** as we bring you an exhilarating way to explore Central Visayas in VATSIM!

**PILOT NOTES:**
* For RPLL-RPVM and RPLL-RPSP, there are two possible routes: IPATA B462 MASBA W8 BATAY or IPATA W25 BATAY. For efficiency during the event, the former will be used for RPVM while the latter for RPSP.
* For RPVM-RPLL, there are two routes available depending on aircraft type. MULOP W11 CONDE is for **JET aircraft** while PARAO W6A ROX B473 LAIYA is for **TUROBOPROP aircraft.**
* RPSP nav data is bugged for MSFS. If you are using aircraft in MSFS that uses the in-simulator nav data (e.g. FlyByWire A2NX), expect that you will be unable to load procedures for RPSP. If you are using an aircraft that uses nav data outside of the simulator (e.g. Fenix A320), RPSP procedures will load normally.
* There is currently no publicly available RPVM scenery featuring the new runways (04L/22R) and taxiways for X-Plane. There is however a Gateway scenery available for X-Plane 12. If you are using X-Plane 11 and below, advise controllers that you have outdated scenery for RPVM.
* Below are links to briefing pages for all four airports, refer to those pages for flight planning as they contain important information for departing and arriving traffic.
